Lot 1054: George III Style Mahogany Astragal Glazed Low Bookcase
A George III style mahogany low bookcase of one-piece construction. The cabinet is surmounted by a dentil moulded cornice above a pair of doors with diamond-patterned astragal glazing bars. The door frames feature figured mahogany veneers, with crossbanded detailing to the top and side panels. The interior contains three adjustable wooden shelves. The piece is supported on shaped bracket feet and retains brass escutcheons.
