Lot 1069: A Collection of Meccano Evolution Construction System Components and Instruction Manuals
A collection of Meccano construction system parts and components, primarily from the Evolution series. The assembly includes a variety of perforated metal strips, plates, and brackets in yellow and zinc-toned finishes, alongside blue perforated plastic plates. Decorative plastic elements in red and white are present, together with various gears and mechanical parts. The lot contains numerous plastic wheel rims with black rubber tyres. Associated hardware, including nuts, bolts, and screws, is partially organised into various secondary plastic containers. Electrical elements are included, featuring small motors, battery boxes, and a yellow perforated metal baseplate with an integrated power cable and UK 3-pin plug. The baseplate bears a sticker marked 1069. The lot is accompanied by original instruction manuals for Meccano Evolution sets 2 and 3. The components are stored in non-original containers, including a large teal plastic toolbox with orange latches, a black open bin, and an orange Jacobs branded plastic container. One white plastic lid has the handwritten mark CET.
