Lot 1089: R.P. Leech, Poppies, Limited Edition Colour Print 3/150
A framed limited edition colour print after an original watercolour and ink drawing by the artist R.P. Leech. The composition features a cluster of red poppies against a loose, abstract wash background in shades of yellow, orange, and blue. The work captures the fluid brushstrokes and fine pen-and-ink linework of the original medium. The print is hand-signed in the lower right corner R P Leech and hand-numbered 3/150. It is presented within a wide cream-coloured mat and a contemporary red-painted wooden frame under glass. Two auction house labels are attached to the upper right of the frame, including one for lot 1089.
