Lot 238: Reclaimed Terracotta Chimney Pot and a Set of Chimney Sweeping Rods
A reclaimed red terracotta chimney pot of circular form, featuring a flared rim and a single moulded decorative band to the upper section. The pot is accompanied by a set of chimney sweeping rods. The rods are constructed from tapered wood and are fitted with metal threaded ferrules at each end for assembly. One rod is fitted with a circular, stiff-bristled sweeping brush head. The lot includes an adhesive auction label marked Lot 238 on the pot and one of the rods, with a matching handwritten mark in white on the body of the pot.
