Lot 255: A Pair of Cast Stone Sack Form Garden Planters
A pair of weathered cast stone garden planters of sack form. Each planter is modelled to resemble gathered fabric with a wide ruffled rim and a body cinched by a decorative knotted rope tie. The construction is of reconstituted stone with a textured surface finish. No maker’s marks are visible on the interior or exterior. Each planter is fitted with a central drainage hole to the base.
