Lot 295: Three Square Glazed Ceramic Garden Pots Including Country Garden Pottery
This lot comprises three substantial ceramic garden planters of square, slightly tapering form. Two pots are finished in a cream-white glaze with thick, rounded, moulded rims. Each of these features a circular embossed seal to one face, depicting a central tree motif surrounded by the words GARDEN COUNTRY POTTERY. The third pot is finished in a turquoise-blue reactive glaze with vertical tonal variations and white flecking around the rim. One pot retains a lot label for HCP Auctions South West. All pots have unglazed terracotta interiors and a single drainage hole at the base.
