Lot 326: A Record Cast Iron Swivel Base Bench Vice
A British-manufactured Record workshop bench vice, constructed from cast iron with a characteristic blue paint finish. The tool features a swivel base mechanism secured by a side-locking lever, designed for multi-angle work positioning. It is equipped with a steel screw-drive and a sliding T-handle with ball ends. The jaws appear to be fitted with replaceable steel inserts. Embossed lettering is present on the side of the casting, partially obscured by a sticker, with the visible characters RECO identifying the manufacturer as Record. The unit carries a white HCP Auctions South West lot sticker for Lot 326 and a piece of green adhesive tape with the handwritten number 7290.
