Lot 374: Two tools comprising a traditional wooden handled felling axe and a Silverline composite handle hatchet
A lot of two wood-cutting tools comprising a traditional felling axe and a modern hand hatchet. The felling axe features a steel head with a single bit and flared edge, mounted on a curved wooden handle. Remnants of red paint are visible on the poll of the head and the knob of the handle. The modern hatchet is a Silverline model featuring a high-visibility yellow composite handle and a black rubberised grip. It retains a partial manufacturer label with barcode 5 011333 200805 and product code 60200800. No further maker marks are visible on the metal components.
