Lot 376: A Trio of Ground-Working and Gardening Tools Including Faithfull and Roughneck Examples
This lot comprises a collection of three ground-working tools designed for landscaping and gardening tasks. The first item is a Faithfull post hole digger featuring a blue-painted steel scissor-action head mounted on two long straight-grained wooden handles. The handle bears a label printed Faithfull Post Hole Digger and a green adhesive tag numbered 7290. The second item is a Roughneck garden fork with a four-pronged steel head and a yellow and black synthetic D-handle. A yellow label on the upper shaft is marked Roughneck and Tough Tools. Tough World., accompanied by a green tag numbered 7290. The third item is a traditional garden fork with a four-pronged steel head and a wooden shaft terminating in a T-handle. This tool bears the handwritten number 7290 on the shaft and a white adhesive tag marked 376 on the handle. A small red and white circular mark is present on the metal ferrule.
