A set of Jingdezhen blue and white porcelain tableware featuring the Linglong or rice grain decorative technique. This method involves piercing the porcelain body with small holes which are then filled with clear glaze, creating translucent patterns when held to light. The central well of the plates and the body of the vessels are decorated in underglaze blue with a five-clawed dragon amidst stylised clouds and flames. The rims are finished with a geometric diaper pattern border, while the interior features a repeating abstract fretwork design. The lid is similarly decorated with rice grain piercings and a central circular knob displaying a blue geometric symbol, possibly a variation of the Shou character. This collection represents mid-to-late 20th-century Chinese export porcelain. No manufacturer marks are visible in the provided images.
