A collection of approximately 150 compact discs encompassing a range of genres including traditional jazz, electronic, and folk rock. The assembly contains a significant selection of British Traditional Jazz on the Lake Records label, featuring Cy Laurie Jazz from the Roots (LACD156), Ken Colyer’s Jazzmen Back to the Delta (LACD209), The Legendary Crane River Jazz Band (LACD57), and Vintage Crane River Jazzband (LACD182). Electronic and ambient works include Jean-Michel Jarre titles Oxygene (800 015-2) and The Concerts in China, Vangelis Antarctica (815 732-2) and L’Apocalypse Des Animaux (831 503-2), William Orbit Strange Cargo III and Pieces in a Modern Style, and Tangerine Dream Lily on the Beach.
The Celtic and folk rock section is well-represented by several Runrig albums, including Searchlight (CDP 32 1713 2), The Cutter and the Clan (CDP 32 1669 2), and Transmitting Live, alongside Clannad Atlantic Realm (BBC CD 727) and Steeleye Span. Pop and compilation highlights include the Synthesizer Hits series (Volumes 1, 2, and 3; OP0031, OP0032, OP0033), Radio Caroline 60’s Flashback 3-CD set, and Ace of Base Happy Nation (521 472-2).
