Lot 426: Lady Schick Consolette Portable Hair Dryer
A mid-century portable salon-style hair dryer, the Lady Schick Consolette. The appliance features a domed housing of moulded seafoam green plastic with a chrome-finished metal band and front latch. A rectangular plaque on the front identifies the manufacturer and model with the text Lady Schick, CONSOLETTE, and HAIR DRYER. The unit is designed with a hinged lid that opens to a perforated interior hood and a central blower assembly. A rotary dial for power and heat settings is located on the rear of the base. The integrated power cord is housed within the unit.
