Buyer's Premium:

A trio of large clear glass demijohns or storage carboys, likely dating from the mid-20th century. Each vessel features a heavy cylindrical body with rounded shoulders and a short, wide-mouth threaded neck. A distinctive feature of these jars is the integral twin-handle design, consisting of two circular finger loops positioned on opposite sides of the neck. The outer edge of the base on both jars is embossed with the text NOT TO BE REFILLED, followed by the numeral 7 on at least one vessel. These jars were commonly used for the commercial distribution and storage of bulk liquids such as cider, vinegar, or industrial chemicals. One jar bears a white rectangular sticker for HCP Auctions South West, marked Lot 429.
