Lot 483: A Japanese Ceramic Bowl and Plate Set with Wooden Chopsticks in a Presentation Box
A Japanese ceramic tableware set comprising a circular plate and a bowl, both finished in a minimalist white glaze. The ceramic pieces exhibit subtle concentric throwing rings visible beneath the glaze. Included is a pair of natural wood chopsticks, identified by a black and white paper label at the terminal inscribed with Meishi (Master Craftsman) and Shiro-nanten (White Sacred Bamboo), along with a yellow band stating Tennen-moku (Natural Wood). The set is housed within its original light wood storage box, featuring internal dividers and green textured crêpe paper lining. No maker’s marks are visible on the ceramic components.
