Lot 52: An Assortment of Vintage Workshop and Hobbyist Tools Including Record, Stanley and Junero
An assortment of vintage workshop and hobbyist tools, primarily of British manufacture, featuring several items in original period packaging. The collection includes a Record No. 48 Dowelling Jig, manufactured in Sheffield, England by C. & J. Hampton Ltd. This tool features a cast metal body stamped RECORD No 48 and MADE IN ENGLAND. It is housed in its original blue and white cardboard box and includes multiple metal drill guide bushes, some in a plastic bag marked Size: 1/4 (6.3 mm), and associated clamping parts. A Stanley shaper file hand tool is included in its original yellow and black branded cardboard box. Also present is a Junero workshop tool component consisting of a blue painted wooden base with a mounted metal multi-purpose attachment, bearing a gold and red decal marked JUNERO LIMITED LONDON PAT. NO. 486665. The lot further contains a Mason Master Safe-D-Speeder 4:1 reduction gear drill accessory in its original cardboard box, and a boxed hobbyist Helping Magnifier with a 2.5 inch magnifying glass and crocodile clips, marked as made in China. Completing the assortment is a black-handled spokeshave with a circular brass adjustment nut and a metal body.
