The Sony speaker is housed in a black cabinet with a matching black fabric grille and displays the Sony logo on the lower front bezel. The telephone equipment consists of a BT4600 cordless telephone base unit finished in silver and black with an integrated digital answering machine, alongside a matching black cordless handset. The base unit is equipped with tactile buttons for skip, stop, play, slow play, delete, answer on/off, volume adjustment, and a handset locator function.
