Lot 550: A Contemporary Berber Style Wool Pile Rug
A contemporary wool pile rug featuring a geometric tribal-inspired design. The rug consists of a light cream field decorated with small repeating geometric motifs, including stylised hook and diamond shapes in shades of grey, charcoal, and burnt orange. A prominent wide vertical band of textured grey wool runs through the composition, accented with intermittent geometric details in orange and dark grey. The rug is finished with a hand-knotted cream fringe. The construction appears to be a wool pile on a cotton or wool foundation. A small white adhesive label marked with the number 550 is attached to the surface.
