Lot 567: Benson Les Paul Style Electric Guitar in Blueburst Finish
A Benson solid-body electric guitar featuring a single-cutaway body design in the style of a Les Paul. The instrument has a figured top with a translucent blueburst finish and cream-coloured binding. The neck features a dark wood fretboard, pearloid block inlays, and cream binding. The headstock is marked with a Benson logo in serif script. Electronics include two humbucker pickups controlled by a three-way toggle switch with a black and gold Rhythm/Treble washer, and four black control knobs. Hardware is chrome-plated, consisting of a tune-o-matic bridge and stop-bar tailpiece. A strip of masking tape on the body is handwritten with the characters R-75 V7313.
