Lot 635: A Collection of Spode Italian Pattern Blue and White Transfer-Printed Earthenware Tableware
A collection of Spode earthenware in the Italian pattern, decorated with blue and white transfer-printed scenes. The central landscape imagery features classical ruins and figures, enclosed by an intricate border of flowers and scrolls. The lot comprises a large round serving bowl, multiple two-handled bouillon bowls with matching saucers, a pair of crescent-shaped side dishes, several dinner plates, a small rectangular dish, and a small oval dish. Printed backstamps for Spode and Made in England are present on the underside, accompanied by impressed or printed numerals. Included in the group are assorted floral tea wares with pink rose motifs.
