Lot 648: Three Pieces of Vintage Cut and Pressed Glass
A trio of vintage clear glass items comprising an oval fruit bowl, a handled cream jug, and a footed compote. The fruit bowl features deep geometric cutting with starburst, pinwheel, and fan motifs, finished with a sharp sawtooth rim. A handwritten label is attached to the bowl identifying it as vintage cut glass. The cream jug is decorated with star and fan patterns and a scalloped rim, with a faceted thumb-rest to the handle. The footed compote or sweetmeat dish displays a moulded thumbprint or coin spot design with a flared scalloped rim and a decorative tiered foot.
