Lot 666: A Late 19th or Early 20th Century Hand-Blown Green Glass Basket
This decorative basket is constructed from hand-blown transparent pale green glass. The body features a deeply undulating, ruffled rim created through hand-tooling while the glass was molten. An arched handle is applied to the rim with crimped terminals at the join points. The basket sits on a short, moulded pedestal foot with a radial ribbed pattern. The piece lacks any maker’s marks, signatures, or acid-etched stamps. The base is moulded and does not show a clear pontil mark.
