Lot 719: An Edwardian Sterling Silver Photograph Frame and a Frosted Glass Stalactite Shade
This lot consists of two items. The first is a rectangular sterling silver mounted photograph frame of plain Edwardian design. The silver mount is hallmarked for Hilliard and Thomason, Birmingham, 1908. It is fixed to a card backing covered in blue velvet and includes a glass pane and a blue fabric insert. The second item is a frosted glass stalactite light shade of tapering form, featuring a high relief stylised flame motif and a ground, unthreaded circular mounting collar at the base.
Hallmarks: H&T (Hilliard and Thomason), Anchor (Birmingham), Lion Passant (Sterling), date letter i (1908).
Dimensions: Frame approximately 14cm x 11cm.
