Lot 742: A Set of Five Blue and White Porcelain Decorative Spheres
A set of five decorative porcelain spheres, commonly utilised as bowl fillers or carpet balls. Each sphere features a unique hand-painted underglaze blue and white pattern. The collection includes five distinct motifs: an imbricated scale pattern with a large stylised floral bloom, a geometric lattice interspersed with star-shaped floral sprigs, a dense floral and vine pattern with large blossoms, a repeating linked oval chain design, and a fine lattice pattern with dot detailing. The spheres are housed in a partitioned cardboard box, which features the number 13 marked in blue ink to the interior lid.
