Lot 8: A vintage benchtop circular saw with wooden housing and accessories
A vintage portable benchtop circular saw featuring a robust wooden construction. The tool is built with a solid hardwood body and a slotted table top equipped with two parallel aluminium guide tracks. A circular steel saw blade is mounted centrally. One side of the unit contains a manual bevel adjustment mechanism consisting of a wooden tilting plate and a curved slot secured with a metal wing nut. The unit is fitted with a vintage-style metal toggle switch for power control. An adjustable metal fence and a small G-clamp are attached to the tool. Included with the lot is a vintage pack of ten Sureweld flux-coated brazing rods, specified for silicon bronze sheet metal work. The top surface retains a white auction label marked Lot 008 and a red Half Price sticker.
