Lot 870: A Two-Seater Sofa and Matching Ottoman in Carved Oak and Ochre Leather
A two-piece lounge suite comprising a two-seater sofa and a matching rectangular ottoman. The set is designed in a robust European rustic style featuring heavy, exposed oak frames with deep relief carvings of scrolling foliate, floral, and leaf motifs on the base and armrest supports. The wood is finished in a medium-brown stain. Both pieces are upholstered in yellow-ochre coloured leather, featuring distinctive fan-like scalloped stitching and heavy pleating on the backrests and armrests to create a deep-buttoned appearance. The cushions are integrated into the frame structure. A small, illegible white adhesive tag is present on the interior of one armrest.
