Lot 886: A mid-20th century solid oak gateleg dining table
A gateleg dining table dating from the mid-20th century, constructed from solid oak. The design features a rectangular centre top section flanked by two semi-circular drop leaves. The table is supported by a frame with six square-section legs joined by box stretchers, including two gatelegs that swing out to support the leaves. A white adhesive lot sticker from H J BURNHAM SOUTH WEST, numbered 886, is located on the top corner. A second handwritten label marked 4671 is attached to one leaf. The underside reveals the primary solid oak construction and the gateleg mechanism.
