Lot 889: Antique Female Dress Form on Metal Tripod Stand
An antique female dress form torso dating from the early 20th century, mounted on an adjustable metal tripod stand. The form features a classic period silhouette with a central stitched seam running vertically down the front and back. It is covered in a faded, tan-coloured woven canvas fabric. The internal structure, visible at the armholes, is composed of a composite core padded with wood wool. The torso is supported by a central metal pole which fits into a dark-patinated metal tripod base with three curved legs. The height is adjustable by a screw mechanism at the base. The piece includes modern auction and inventory labels.
