Lot 909: A Pair of Chinese Chinoiserie Style Painted Bedside Cabinets
A pair of mid-to-late 20th-century Chinoiserie-style bedside cabinets featuring an off-white painted finish. Each cabinet is constructed with a rectangular top having a recessed central panel, positioned above a single drawer and a lower cupboard with two doors. The drawer and door fronts are embellished with carved circular medallions depicting the stylised Shou symbol for longevity. The cupboards are fitted with dark-toned metal drop-style pulls. The cabinets are raised on short, shaped bracket-style feet. One cabinet bears an auction lot sticker numbered 909, and the other has a handwritten paper tag attached to the handle.
