Lot 963: Old Charm Oak Dresser in the Tudor Revival Style
An Old Charm oak dresser manufactured by Wood Bros, featuring a two-part construction with a dark stained finish. The upper section consists of an open-backed plate rack with a carved lunette frieze and two small side-shelves supported by bulbous turned pilasters. The lower sideboard section comprises three frieze drawers, each decorated with carved scrollwork and fitted with circular wooden knobs. Beneath the drawers is a two-door cupboard, with each door featuring recessed Tudor arch panelling and mounted on decorative exposed metal strap hinges. The unit is supported by a solid plinth base.
