Lot 969: An Edwardian Mahogany and Inlaid Sheraton Revival Library Table
An Edwardian mahogany Sheraton revival library or writing table dating to the early 20th century. The piece features a rectangular top with a flat edge and mahogany veneers. It is supported by four square tapered legs, each decorated with inlaid light-wood stringing, likely satinwood or boxwood, which forms vertical rectangular panels. The legs terminate in original brass cup castors with wheels. The frieze is further embellished with matching inlaid stringing. The construction uses mahogany throughout with decorative inlay work.
