Lot 973: Mid-Century Modern Radiogram Stereogram Console
A vintage mid-century modern radiogram stereogram console, featuring a long and low-profile design. The cabinet is constructed from a wooden frame finished with a wood-effect laminate and is supported by four tapered wooden legs. The top of the unit consists of two hinged lids, designed to reveal the radio tuner and record player components. The front lower section incorporates two integrated speaker grilles with vertical wooden slats, flanking a central wood-effect panel. The minimalist design and tapered legs are characteristic of British home audio furniture from the 1960s and 1970s.
