Lot 978: A Mid-20th-Century Mahogany-Stained Drop-Leaf Table with Spindle Stretcher
This mahogany-stained drop-leaf table, dating from the mid-20th century, features a rectangular top with two drop leaves having rounded corners. The structure is supported by four square-section legs with vertical fluting. A lower stretcher rail incorporates a decorative row of small, bobbin-turned spindles positioned between two horizontal rails. The piece is finished in a mahogany stain typical of traditional furniture from this period. No maker’s marks or labels are visible.
