English bamboo Thebes stool in the Egyptian Revival style. The stool features a dished rectangular seat constructed from parallel lengths of split bamboo secured with pins to a concealed frame. The base is formed from four bamboo legs with natural nodes, joined by four horizontal side stretchers and a central diagonal X-form cross stretcher for stability. A blue paper auction label is adhered to the top of the seat printed with MCP Auctions South West and Lot 984.
