R. M. Barr, a sequence of six monochrome silver gelatin prints from the mid-20th century, depicting a young girl in various ballet and dance costumes, including tutus and a dance set consisting of a collared shirt and shorts. The subject is captured in a studio setting, utilising props such as draped curtains, a staircase, and a large sphere. The photographs are mounted onto a single, elongated cream-coloured card mount, featuring hand-drawn black ink lines connecting the images. The mount is signed in ink at the lower right R. M. Barr. The assembly is presented in a simple black-painted wooden frame under glass. The piece bears adhesive labels including one for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 1014.
