Lot 151: Spike Chopper Easy Rider Child's Bicycle
A child’s pedal bicycle manufactured by Spike, designed in the style of a cruiser or chopper motorcycle. The bike is constructed with a purple-painted steel frame and features various decorative plastic fairings to simulate motorcycle components. These include a purple fuel tank bearing Easy Rider decals, a black plastic casing representing a V-twin engine, and twin chrome-effect plastic exhaust pipes. The front forks are finished in a vibrant green and house a wheel fitted with a knobby rubber tyre. The black synthetic padded saddle is decorated with yellow, blue, and green flame graphics. The bicycle is equipped with plastic training wheels, a single-speed chain-driven mechanism, and a cable-actuated rear hand brake. A custom nameplate reading LUCAS is attached to the front forks. The Spike brand decal is visible on the rear plastic fairing.
