Lot 231: A Trio of Glazed Ceramic Garden Planters and Decorative Inserts
A collection of three garden planters and associated decorative items. The lot includes two matching large cylindrical planters finished in a deep forest green glaze and one bulbous planter featuring a mottled pale green to light blue reactive glaze. The collection also contains a rectangular stoneware birdhouse insert bearing the impressed mark MILLS, which features a blue bird figurine on the roof. One of the green planters is nested with the birdhouse, while the bulbous planter contains a smaller, plain ceramic pot filled with dried organic matter and a weathered fabric sunflower. The pieces are constructed from glazed earthenware or stoneware.
