Lot 248: A Pair of Two-Tone Blue and Brown Glazed Ceramic Garden Planters
A pair of circular garden planters of graduated sizes, constructed from glazed ceramic. Each vessel features a two-tone decorative finish, comprising a deep cobalt blue band around the rim that bleeds into a mottled metallic dark brown and bronze body through a drip glaze technique. The interiors are left unglazed, revealing the natural terracotta-toned ceramic body. Both planters are cylindrical in form with slightly tapering sides leading to a flat base. A small, unreadable rectangular white adhesive label is present on the exterior of the larger planter.
