Lot 273: A Traditional Garden Bench with Rose and Leaf Panel and a Folding Mesh Frame
A traditional garden bench featuring cast metal ends and a decorative back panel. The back panel consists of a cast metal insert with a foliate relief design in the Rose and Leaf pattern, finished in green verdigris-effect paint. The bench is constructed with wooden slats forming the seat and back rails, which are bolted to heavy cast metal scrolling ends. Included in the lot is an associated black tubular metal folding frame featuring a white plastic-coated wire mesh grid. A white paper tag is attached to the top back rail of the bench and the folding frame with handwritten characters 99LS. A small white sticker on one of the seat slats is printed with the number 273.
