Lot 372: A Collection of Compact Discs Including Traditional Jazz, Electronic, and Folk-Rock
A substantial collection of compact discs, primarily housed in standard jewel cases, with several slimline cases and multi-disc box sets. The collection features a significant emphasis on traditional jazz, with an extensive run of recordings by Ken Colyer and his various ensembles, including the Ken Colyer’s Jazzmen and Skiffle Group. Many of these are on the specialist Lake Records label, with titles including A Month of Sundays and Vintage Crane River Jazz Band. Other jazz artists represented include Acker Bilk and the Dave Carey Jazz Band.
