Lot 430: A Pair of 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzles by Gibsons and Corner Piece Puzzles
A pair of 1000-piece cardboard jigsaw puzzles depicting nostalgic retail shop interiors. The first puzzle, manufactured by Corner Piece Puzzles, is titled Vintage Toy Shop and shows a busy interior scene filled with traditional toys such as model vehicles, dolls, and airplanes alongside various shoppers. The second puzzle is a Gibsons production titled Herbert’s Hardware, featuring artwork by Steve Crisp. This scene illustrates a traditional British hardware store interior with multiple customers and assorted household goods. The Gibsons box displays the brand logo and a British flag emblem denoting their establishment in 1919.
