Lot 464: An Assortment of Vintage-Style Electronics and Media featuring a Bush TR82/97 Radio and Story Teller Cassette Collection
An assortment of electronics, audio media, and domestic sundries. The lot features a Bush TR82/97 portable radio, which is a modern reproduction of the 1959 transistor design. The radio is housed in a cream-coloured ribbed plastic cabinet with chrome-effect trim and a cream plastic carry handle on a metal frame. It features a large circular tuning dial with a silver-tone centre knob and scales for FM, MW, and LW bands, including station names such as Light, Third, and Home. The front lower cabinet is marked with individual raised BUSH letters. Included is a collection of Story Teller children’s audio cassettes housed in a red plastic carry case. The collection includes volumes 2 through 12 and 14 through 26, alongside a Christmas Story Teller special and an original illustrated index insert.
