Lot 524: Hughes & Kettner Electric Guitar, Stratocaster Style
A Hughes & Kettner electric guitar featuring a double-cutaway solid body with a gloss black finish. The instrument is constructed with a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. It is fitted with a three-ply black-white-black laminate pickguard, three single-coil pickups, a five-way selector switch, one volume control, and two tone controls with aged cream plastic knobs. The headstock features a distinctive hooked profile and carries a black elliptical decal with the maker’s logo in cursive script. The hardware includes six-in-line chrome-plated tuning machines and a synchronised tremolo-style bridge with six individual saddles.
