Lot 578: A Collection of Vintage Utility Items Including a Tilley Pressure Lantern and Pyrene Junior Fire Extinguisher
A group of mid-20th-century utility items including a chrome-plated Pyrene Junior pump-action fire extinguisher, a brass-font Tilley pressure lantern, a ribbed aluminium vacuum flask, and a galvanised metal hot water bottle. The Pyrene extinguisher is of cylindrical pump-action design. The Tilley lamp consists of a brass fuel reservoir, a clear glass globe, and a black enamelled upper vent with an integrated wire handle and cage. The vacuum flask features a horizontally ribbed body and a red and white stopper. The foot warmer is of oval galvanised construction with a brass screw-cap and wire carrying handle. The lot includes a handwritten identification tag.
