A hand-painted ceramic novelty teapot from The Village collection, produced for Western House Gifts. The teapot is designed as a dual-fronted village shop; one side features a Greengrocer storefront with detailed crates of produce including apples and vegetables, while the reverse side depicts a Baker storefront with window displays of bread. The piece features a detachable lid that integrates into the pitched roof design, complete with a square chimney. The handle and spout are moulded and decorated to resemble textured, knotted wooden branches. The base bears a brown backstamp with an illustration of fruit and a building, and text reading THE VILLAGE, TEAPOT COLLECTABLES, THE GREENGROCER, a handpainted fine ceramic teapot designed by Annie Rowe, followed by an Annie Rowe script signature. The double-W logo and the text WESTERN HOUSE GIFTS are located at the bottom of the stamp.
