Lot 621: Akai A60006 Micro CD and Radio System with Speakers
An Akai A60006 micro CD and radio system comprising a central control unit and a pair of matching bookshelf speakers. The main unit is constructed from black plastic and features a top-loading CD player, an AM/FM radio tuner, and a digital clock. The interface includes a central digital LCD display and a series of push-button controls for functions such as REW, F.FWD, STOP, PLAY/PAUSE, DBBS, PROGRAM, REPEAT, and clock adjustment. A large rotary dial is positioned at the centre for volume and tuning control. The speakers are finished in a black wood-grain vinyl wrap with fixed fabric grilles. The Akai brand name is printed in white on the top of the central unit. A paper auction lot sticker reading Lot 621 is applied to the front display.
