Lot 635: A Vintage Hand-Blown Pale Green Art Glass Basket
A hand-blown decorative art glass basket in a pale green tint. The vessel features a wide, flared rim with a four-lobed ruffled or handkerchief style edge. It is fitted with a high, arched overhead handle made of clear glass, which is applied to the rim with textured, crimped berry style terminals. The body tapers down to a short, integral pedestal base with a radial ribbed or fluted pattern. Small internal air bubbles, or seeds, are visible within the glass, consistent with the hand-blowing process.
