Lot 693: An Assortment of Collectibles including a House of Wentworth British Bomber Pilot Figurine and a Taunton Cider Mug
This assortment contains various collectibles and a religious text. Included is a House of Wentworth British Bomber Pilot figurine, sculpted by S. R. Heyward. The figure is hand-made in Great Britain and features a bronze-effect finish on a cold-cast composition material, depicting a pilot in full flight gear. It retains the original gold foil label on a green felt base. A traditional two-handled commemorative mug from the Taunton Cider Collection is present, produced by Taunton Country Crafts in a limited quantity. The glazed ceramic mug features a brown backstamp and descriptive text to the base. Also included is a vintage hand-painted ceramic character bank fashioned as a stylised male head with an open mouth for coin insertion. The figure is depicted with a wide mustache, green tunic, and black hat. Completing the lot is a copy of The English Hymnal with Cranleigh School Supplement, published by Oxford. This is a green cloth-bound hardback volume.
