Lot 8: SIP Electric Welding Kit in Original Box
A vintage SIP electric arc welding kit manufactured by SIP (Industrial Products Ltd). The kit consists of an electric welding unit housed in a red metal casing with a black plastic carrying handle. The top of the unit is marked with compatible electrode sizes (1.5mm to 2mm) and includes a safety instruction label regarding earthing. The unit is fitted with a standard UK 3-pin mains plug. Included accessories are a metal chipping hammer with a wooden handle, welding cables with an earth clamp and electrode holder, and a handheld welding shield. The set is contained within its original illustrated retail cardboard box, which lists intended uses such as ornamental ironwork, car body repairs, and metal sculpture.
