Lot 839: A Pair of Nienkämper Max Lounge Chairs by Mark Müller
A pair of Max lounge chairs manufactured by Nienkämper and designed by Mark Müller. Each chair features a minimalist modernist design defined by a broad, continuous laminated bentwood frame in a light natural finish. The frame sections form sweeping, sculptural armrests that curve down to serve as the base. The seats and backrests are upholstered in black leather featuring horizontal channel-stitched detailing. The design incorporates a reclined, ergonomic profile. A small green manufacturer label is present on the lower interior frame of the right-hand chair.
