Lot 946: A set of three Queen Anne style nesting tables with gilt-tooled leather tops
A graduated set of three nesting tables in the Queen Anne revival style. Each table features a stained hardwood frame with a dark mahogany finish and scalloped edges decorated with carved rope-twist detailing. The tops are inset with red leather panels featuring decorative gilt-tooled borders, each protected by a removable glass insert. The tables are supported by cabriole legs with carved shell-motif detailing at the knees, terminating in pad feet. The largest table bears a white rectangular sticker for MCT Auctions, Lot 946, and a pink circular sticker numbered 32.
